Marlene’s journey began with her career at Caterpillar Inc. and brings 30+ years of experience to Potential Sales & Consulting Group. She has extensive knowledge and experience in Marketing, Sales, Information Technology, Project Management, and Human Resources.
Major accomplishments include:
¥ First in Caterpillar to lead the development and implementation of e-business strategies including dealer storefront and parts store for dealers in Latin America and the Caribbean
¥ Created a new e-Business division for Caterpillar Latin America and the Caribbean to meet the demands of growth leading to 613% e-business growth of parts sales
¥ Developed and managed project plan for moving learning facility from Miami, FL to Panama City, Panama and managed sales personnel pipeline, including recruiting, hiring, and training of all new field sales personnel
¥ Instrumental in the operational business and strategic planning for Caterpillar business in Latin America and the Caribbean for market trends, customer value/satisfaction and industry opportunities
¥ Developed strategic partnership with International Youth Foundation (IYF) in Washington D.C and CAT Foundation to implement comprehensive training program in Lima, Peru for the underprivileged resulting in a donation from IYF of $3 million

Her passion, enthusiasm for the business, and energy to help others succeed led her to Potential Sales & Consulting Group where she is a Senior Associate on the fast track to Partner. Marlene is instrumental in the sales recruiting of ‘A’ level players and creating a positive sales organization’s culture that allows for achieving increased revenue. She is deeply skilled, experienced in solving a wide range of business challenges, and has the talent for making good business decisions and executing on those decisions for the benefit of the client.
Marlene is from East Peoria, Illinois and was transferred to Miami, Florida in 1999 and served as the liaison between Caterpillar and dealers worldwide for major IT initiatives and e-business strategies. She has a bachelor’s degree in e-Business and a Master’s degree in Marketing. Her hobbies include oil painting, ceramics, and music. She and her husband also enjoy spending time with family and friends at their beach house in Huehuete, Nicaragua.
